A Note from your Community Service Chair

Dear Guild,

At the June Community Service program there will be a fun and easy new quilt pattern that uses fat quarters. There will also be Kay Ross' Christmas stocking pattern to make for the Women's Crisis Center. Bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. I will bring lots of fabric. Any bright & happy fat quarters and/or Christmas fabrics you could bring will be welcome. We will also need cutting mats, rotary cutters, rulers, ironing board, iron, etc.

Rainbow Camp is a summer camp program for children with cancer or blood disorders and their brothers and sisters. Camp is June 29th-July 4th, 2008 and we would like to have 80 quilts. We only need 11 more to meet our goal of one for each kid. Please bring your finished quilts to the June 19th meeting.
